Getting Calls From Google Saying Your Business Is Not Verified?

I have been getting a couple robocalls a week lately over the last few weeks again, saying my business is not verified. They say they are from Google and your business needs to be verified! If you want to show up on Google searches they will set it up for you for only a one time fee of $600 dollars. In this modern day of technology and quest for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) improvements this is important but it is FREE! It is important that your business is verified which makes it faster and much more convenient for customers to find you.

The business listing needs to be verified and claimed by you by doing the following:

Sign in to Google My Business.

If your business is eligible to get a verification code by phone, you'll see the Verify by phone option when you request verification. If you don't see it, verify your listing by mail instead.

Computer

To use a computer to verify your business listing by phone, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to Google My Business

  2. Choose the business you’d like to verify, then click Verify now.

  3. Make sure you can directly answer your business phone number to get your verification code.

  4. To have the code sent to your phone via automated message, click Verify by phone.

  5. Enter the code from the message.

Mobile

To use the mobile app to verify your business listing by phone, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Google My Business app.

  2. Tap Call me now.

  3. Enter the code from the message, then tap the Arrow .

After you enter your code, your business information will be eligible to appear live in Search, Maps, and other Google properties. Then clients can start leaving powerful positive reviews. Multiple 5 star reviews should have your information show up higher on the map and on organic searches.

Personal meetings and eye contact with actual conversation is how real relationships begin.
